The romantic Karblickhütte is situated in dreamlike position on a sunny slope near the village Bucheben. The view to the mountains of the "Hohe Tauern" is breathtaking. There are binoculars available in order to observe the wonderful landscape and the fauna of the region.From the parking lot, you will reach the house over a small path through the forest (about 5 walking minutes).The basic station of the "Rauriser Hochalmbahnen", cable way, can be reached by car within 8 minutes. The ski resort reaches an altitude of 2.211 m and disposes of 10 lifts and cableways with 30 km of pistes. Within a 1/2 hour drive, you can easily reach the ski resorts of Gastein, Kaprun/Kitzsteinhorn and Zell am See. Cross country tracks, toboggan run, horse-drawn sleigh tours, curling etc...
