The historic town of Market Harborough offers many independently owned shops and boutiques, museums and places of interest to visit. Foxton Locks just a few minutes drive away which is most famous for having the ruins of the inclined plane boat lift and breathtaking staircase of 10 locks on the Grand Union Canal. Other places of interest a little further afield are The National Space Centre, Rockingham Castle, Rockingham Speedway, Rutland Water Nature Reserve and Kelmarsh Hall.
