Set amidst neighbouring vineyards and Romanesque masterpieces, the Château de Besseuil, remarkably restored with due deference to its architecture, offers its guests an exceptional, historical setting. Nestling within a four-hectare estate complete with ceremonial courtyard, garden and outbuildings, the chateau reclaims the nobility of its materials from yesteryear. Its French-style ceilings, period fireplaces and exposed beams sparkle with renewed lustre throughout the six apartments featuring full modern comfort. While some have a private garden, they all include the use of a pleasant swimming pool overlooking the surrounding hills. Opening in summer 2010 : 6 new studios (in the pigeon house)
