The Novalis hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the vineyards and close to the sea, forest and the mountains. Indeed, the hotel is only 15 minutes away from Bordeaux where there are several must see attractions. The city is set on the banks of the Garonne River and visitor attractions within the city include the cathedral St Andre and its Pey Berland clock tower, the Place de la Bourse, the Girondins monument and the place des Quinconces. Take a walk down the longest shopping street in Europe, the rue Ste Catherine, which leads to the Grand Theatre in Place de la Victoire. There are alsomany more monuments, palaces and garden to be explored right in the heart of Bordeaux. The Novalis hotel is situated at the heart of the Pessac Léognan Graves vineyard. After visiting Bordeaux itself, do not forget to go and tastes the wines of the region. Following the Medoc wine route also gives you the chance to visit some of the many fine castles in the area around the Gironde estuary. Indeed, vine dominate the landscape of the region.
