Frequent trains run from Fiumicino to Stazione Termini with a journey time of 30-40 minutes. From Ciampino the best way of arriving at Stazione Termini is by bus. Numerous bus companies operate outside Ciampino airport taking new arrivals to Via Marsala beside Stazione Termini Rome. The Domus Castrense Guest House is easily reached by car. When driving to Rome on the motorway you will meet the Grande Raccordo Annulare, Rome’s all-encompassing ring road. Head towards Civitavecchia/Rieti/Roma Nord and exit the GRA toward the centre of Rome on Via Salaria. After 6 km keep to your right and head towards Piazza Vescovio/Tangenzial Est/Via Nomentana and take the Circonvallazione Salaria. The Circonvallazione Salaria becomes Tangenziale Est, Circonvallazione Nomentana. Turn right on to Via Tiburtina. After just under a kilometre turn right into Via del Castro Laurenziano. Then turn left into Viale dell’Università and the Guest House Domus Castrense is located at number 25.
