Situated only 3 min. from the Millstätter lake. Impressiv is the church with its monestary situated in the center of town. In the early days, Millstatt was a place where pilgers used to make a stop. Then after 1870 Millstatt became known as a health spa and the lake was used for swimming. The lake has a mediterranean flair.
