Directions to hotel
The BW Hotel IMLAUER is situated only 5-minutes-walking-distance from the Salzburg main train station. From the station turn left into Rainerstrasse, cross intersection and walk straight ahead for about 150 metres. You see our hotel on the left side.
From Villach, Innsbruck, Munich - highway exit Salzburg Mitte, go to B155, approximately 3 km straight ahead, cross the Salzach and at the third traffic-light turn right into Rainerstrasse. Go straight ahead through the railway-underpass and turn left into Humboldstrasse to our parking place.

positiv: The window is sound proofed and keeps the noise out. I was very happy to be given a room on the top floor.
negativ: My room was non-smoking but there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. At night I could also smell smoke very strongly- perhaps the 5th floor below is a smoking floor? I slept with the window open when it got really bad.
positiv: Good transport links to town centre and train stations. Not too far on foot from town.
negativ: Room and bathroom not cleaned properly. Items in room not replenished. Poor sound dampening on windows. Air conditioning noisy and unserviced. Hotel allowing smoking in non-smoking rooms.
