positiv: Location is almost perfect for budget stay - hotel is located in a very quiet area close to Alterlaa U-Bahn station. There's a big department store 5 minutes walk from the hotel, so you'll never have problems to get smth to eat if you want. THe whole surrounding is lovely - every evening you'll feel the smell of fireplaces around and it's so beautiful
negativ: Seems our particular room had huge problems with drain and air circulation system in a restroom. Double room had 1 big bed which actually was made of 2 separate matresses with a large gap between them, 2 separate blankets etc
positiv: Some membres of the staff were very willing to help.
negativ: The wifi is not working on the 3-rd floor.
positiv: Good value for money (we paid 58 EUR for a double, breakfast included), good breakfast, pretty clean, staff ready to answer your questions and help when asked to.
negativ: They asked for advance payment at arrival, which has never happened to us before and it made us feel like second hand guests who might run away without paying. We payed anyway, although we could have refused if we wanted to. The furniture and sanitary equipment were old and worn out but functional, but we really didn't care too much as we used the room for sleeping only. The "coup de grace" our friends ewceived at the end, when the staff took two bags from their room to reception saying that they thought they friends left already and forgot them, just to start cleaning it 1 hour before checkout time. Lucky us for leaving all our stuff in the room (bags, mobile phone, etc.) and they probably thought it was too much for them to try to remove from the room by themselves and waited for us to pack and leave. If it wasn't for the two above mentioned proofs of ill-manner my review could have looked a lot better. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case for us.
positiv: absolute friedly service. I received a little birthday present from the staff. That was really nice!
negativ: Not enough water preasure in the bath room. Nearly impossible to use the shower. Power plug didn't work in the bath room, so we had to use the one in the bedroom.
