positiv: I was very glad to see that the good ratings I had found in the HRS comments are completely true. Even though I stayed for only one night I felt welcome and the owners, who themselves run the hotel, tried to make my stay very pleasant. My (one) request was met immediately. My room, giving to the back yard, was so quiet - I have not experienced such quietness in ages! In the middle of the city! Very pleasant: The room was quite large - old Viennese style.
The hotel is close to Westbahnhof and well connected to public transport.
negativ: If you get a room to the street - Westbahn-Straße - it may be a bit noisy in the morning. Better bring along some ear plugs.
positiv: The staff was very warm and welcoming. In addition, they recommended wonderful places to eat and sights to see. If you're looking for an affordable place to base your visit from, I highly recommend this hotel.
positiv: Excellent location from the centre and also easily accessible from Westbahnhof for airport transfers
