The numerous sights, restaurants and shops of the Czech capital are easily accessible by public transport, the stations are only some walking minutes away. Positive: Good location, great breakfast...impresive!
Positive: very helpful staff, room was ok for price we payed.
Negative: shower leaked bad, fridge didn't work, no hot water sometimes. what really wasn't good were the descriptions how to get to the hotel found on the website make sure you have map of private transport by hand at arrival
Positive: My 3rd stay and each time I get a nicer room, although all the rooms are all very nice. I highly recommend "Ostruvek" for anyone visiting Prague.

Positive: Very nice multilingual reception staff. Very big well-furnished room with fast Internet connection for free. Well-located, within a 15 minutes' tram ride to the centre.
Negative: Service only entered the room to make the beds and replace the toilet paper. They never changed towels or vacuum the carpet, or wipe the dust. I think if we had stayed there for a month, they wouldn't have cleaned once.The room was far too hot and made you sweat with no heating on (having in mind that outside the temperature was 10 degrees)
We were left with 1 shampoo and 1 soap for 3 days and had to ask for it at the reception, which is unacceptable for a 3-star hotel, I think.
Positive: I very much enjoyed staying a week here. It was such a tremendous value. The rooms were a little warm, but I switched to the first floor and had a fan.

Negative: There was some noise from the trains; there were train tracks in the rear of the hotel with a little traffic during the night, but not enough to wake you up
Positive: Breakfast was excellent. Staff were fantastic. Room was both large and clean. Although not in the centre of town, the staff made sure the available travel options were made clear.

Positive: This Hotel is rated 3 stars, I have stayed at 4 star hotels that did not come close to this 3 year old hotel, by public transporation it only 1 hour from the Prague Airport which costs only 26 CZK, there are 2 tram stops within a 2 to 3 minute walk, then only a 12 minute ride to Wenceslas Square Tram 24, same time to Vinohrady District Tram 11, 15 minutes to Andel District Tram 7, plus many other Trams to all areas of Prague. There is secure onsite free parking. Located on a non travel street a half block from a major street, On the north side there is tram a top hill and not much noise from it, on the south side there is a nice little scenic stream. It is quite quiet not like other guests have stated. The free breakfast is very good. The staff is excellent giving info and directions. I plan on staying there on all my future visits to Prague. The price is excellent and there are excellent local restaurans and banks with atms within a few minutes walk and markets. A great place!

Positive: Everything is positive, me and my husband enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is quite near to the center. I would suggest this hotel to everyone, especially private traveller that are going to spend really nice time in Prague.
