Positive: Very good size of rooms.
Excellent location.
Nice staff.
Negative: Bathroom should have closed cabin for shower
Positive: Helpful and kind staff, welcome drink vouchers for HRS quests unpromptedly
Negative: We could not check out late (at 3 pm, as should HRS bookers be able to).
Positive: After repeated complaints about the speed and availability of the internet, and having to ask for the room to be cleaned properly, the manager refunded the extra €10/day that they had wanted to charge me for the internet.
Negative: When I booked it seemed, from the table of comparison with other hotels, that room had internet; when I arrived I was told that would cost €10/day extra. I had no choice, it was essential, then found that it was so slow and unreliable as sometimes to be useless. Decor in room and corridors was like hospital. No proper desk or table so was difficult to work at my laptop. Shower flooded bathroom floor if used for more than short time. Bedroom floor and surfaces were not properly cleaned for the 1st 5 days, and when I complained the housekeeping manager argued with me about it. Electronic key stopped working several times, so having got to room door had to go back to reception and get new key. Asked for TAXI to airport and was given, without consultation, 'hotel transport' at exorbitant cost.
Positive: The receptionist were very helpful and greeted everyone warmly.
Positive: The room was ok and comfortable except for what I experienced.
Negative: The hotel staffs were not professional at all. A reception woman did not know the place of the state opera. After she searched in a map, she eventually told me a wrong place, which I did not notice until when I went to the place. I had to find the right place by myself. It took over one hour. So I missed the whole first act of the opera. In the next day, I told them what I experienced in the last night. They just laughed and said that it was crazy. That was all. I could not enjoy my trip this time.
Positive: - very good food at breakfast - possibility to pay the accomodation in Euro's - small guides and maps received at the reception when we arrived, they were useful during our visit of Prague - very close to the center of the town
Negative: - We had a room on upper layer, so the windows were very high, that means no view of the city, we just see only the sky! - No fridge in the room, it will be nice to have a small fridge inside the room. - Some towels had a few grey points, they were not very well cleaned.
Positive: Free maps and guides available at reception and given without prompting by the staff
Negative: Room was a little bit colder. No extra blankets were available in the room, but the staff provided them very quickly.
Negative: This hotel has different rooms. When I was in spring and paid more... I got very!!!! nice room. Now the rate was not so high and the room was in 4th floor, at a lift , without nice furnitures, with very small window. Like 2 stern hotel
Negative: the rate asked was slightly higher that expected according to HRS reservation, they explained that it is because our stay was shorter than booked
Negative: the description of the location of the hotel is incorrect, you cant call it in city center- there is no walking distance into city center!!
Positive: Very helpful and competent staff. Breakfasts and restaurant were above average. We were across the street from the main portion of the hotel. While the room was of good size the room was worn. Carpet was fair, television did not provide enough sound. Bathroom was okay. I am sure there is a *** section of the hotel but our room was more like a **. But overall I would say it was it was ***.
Negative: The description over-states walking distances. While we walked all over Munich from the Bristol. It is a stretch when they say within walking distance. It is a long walk downtown. The staff didin't recommend it.
