Positive: The hotel location is very good. Within the castle district and near to the Charles Bridge. Staff is kind and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean and the bathroom was bigger than the room and had towel warming rack, several hooks, large tub and beautiful tile work. We had a very tiny room but because our stay was only overnight - 12 hours, it was fine. Beds were comfortable, there was a reading light next to each and the room was quiet. The hotel is in a medieval building and retains it antique atmosphere. We left before breakfast so cannot evaluate the meal.
Negative: Rooms and apartments are located up many narrow winding stairs. However staff immediately took care of carrying luggage up without our asking for help. But if staff were not helpful like this it would have been very difficult for elderly persons. The lack of a lift is a definite drawback.
