negativ: Restaurant & Bar close at 21:30. No Food on late arival!
positiv: Excellent hotel in a very green area, situated very close to Espoo Railway Station (20 minutes by train to Helsinki). Very nice staff. Free internet connection. Tasty and rich breakfast. Lovely view around with rabbits, squirrels and hedgehogs :-).
positiv: Pleasant, quiet balcony. Nearby supermarkets, alko shop, restaurants. Short walk from train station. Close to Espoo Cathedral. Quiet location. Pool and sauna available in mornings. Free public internet terminal and printer in reception, useful for checking in on-line. Close to bus-stop for airport bus.
negativ: Pool and sauna only open in the morning for about an hour and a half, which seems to be the case in most Finnish hotels. Pool very cold in an attempt to simulate the Finnish tradition of having a sauna then leaping into an icy cold lake. (Some guests may like this). Not a lot to do in this area of Espoo. You need your own transport to explore Espoo properlly. Few rooms with double beds in hotel.
positiv: I was delighted to find a grand piano in the large breakfast room upstairs where I could play.
I liked the free morning sauna and swimming. I was astonished that I was the only one using it. But it was nice to have it for myself.
positiv: Very cooperative and friendly hotel staff. I received both broadband internet and additional sauna sessions free of charge.
