positiv: What you see is what you get. A no frills hotel for the budget traveller who needs no comforts. Near the station but a good 20 minutes walk to Promenade des Anglais
negativ: Old hotel, restaurant not open, no bar nor minibar. Tiny lift for max 2 people without luggage and it was constantly defect. A group of Russian children were there and terribly noisy & impolite. Staff did nothing to quieten them. Receptionist didn't seem to want to give me a printed receipt as it was probably too much work for her. We got what we paid for which was nothing!!
positiv: The hotel is near the train station, it was my second time in this hotel
negativ: the internet was only in the lobby, and I am not sure did hotel charged the money from the my credit card. I arrived late in the night and paid cash.
positiv: Very good beds, nice aromatic Fragonard soap and shampoo. Clean room.
negativ: Very low level of sound in the tv (maybe blocked), if the window is open you cannot hear anything. The pillow is too small and too thin (you do not feel it at all when you are lying on it), we had to roll the blanket and put it under the pillow. And in the three stars hotel actually you must not areceive a "warm welcome" from the receptionist like "Good evening, pay please"! And a very slow receptionist who takes about 20-25 minutes to give you a key (without filling any forms! In France you are not asked for the passport) and stamp the receipt. We have got the receipt only after 2 hours, he did not wanted to give it!
