positiv: Very helpful staff, good breakfast buffet, WiFi works just fine and was free (which is not so common in France). Good location - very close to Gare de Lyon (trains and Metro), walking distance to Notre Dame and St. Michel or to Batobus stop if you prefer to go around on the boat. Nice 3-star Paris hotel (i.e. rooms are small but decent and clean).
negativ: Some things like closet doors hinge may require repair. Nothing major though.
positiv: Pleasant welcome, helpful and friendly staff, reasonably-sized rooms, reasonable value for money
negativ: Disconcerting to find the hotel shrouded in scaffolding, but there was no building work going on when we there so it didn't affect us. Air conditioning wasn't fully working so our room was uncomfortably hot. Decor seemed a bit worn - not at all convinced that it is only 3 years old as the description claims.
