negativ: If a hotel in this price category is list with WLAN, I expect a free connection in my room. This needs to be stated clearly, as this was on of my main criteria for choosing this accommodation.
positiv: Great hotel for the money. Sits right on the tram line from the Alexanderplatz. Really small room, but clean.. Bathroom was clean, but tiny. Free WiFi. Staff was friendly and spoke fluent English. I would recommend staying here if you want an inexpensive place to stay in Berlin.
negativ: Street noise was a bit much, especially when the tram rolls by, but not overly so. Walls were a bit thin. I could hear people in adjoining rooms, and also the dog walking across the floor above. Not enough of a negative not to stay, especially if you are interested in an inexpensive hotel in a good location.
positiv: very helpful staff
negativ: rooms without aircon or other mean of cooling it down
