positiv: Hotel was very clean and reception was excellent and so helpful. The room was quiet and peaceful. The general area was pleasant and security wise we felt very safe in Berlin and especially in the immediate area. The bathroom is of very high quality and the bed very comfortable. Towels were changed daily and were nice and soft.
negativ: It is a shame the Hotel does now have a communal room other than Tom's Bar next door of which there was a gage door across most of the time and we couldn't find a way in direct from from hotel next door. We expected the hotel to have a dining room ratherthan eat across at the recommended 'More Restaurant' which incidentally was EXCELLENT. Shame they didnt open until 1000 hrs on Sunday the morning we had to leave so had no Breakfast.
Without on site restaurant or snack bar the rooms really do need to have Tea and Coffee making facilities included along with the supplied bottles of water. The hotel seemed very quiet and without communal room we didn't see another guest. Being a speciallist Gay hotel it would have been good to meet with others in the hotel and exchange ideas of places to go or go off in groups. The hotel recommends the internet cafe around the corner. Unfortunately the male there is unhelpful as we didn't speak much German which made a communication barrier.

negativ: The room, bathroom and outside floor smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to me a non-smoking room.
