positiv: Great location close to everything that matters in Cologne.
negativ: Only negative was the smell in the bathroom coming from sewer.
positiv: Excellent location within walking distance of the train station, Cathedral, Aldmarkt and many bars and restaurants.
negativ: If you want a long lie try further away from the Cathedral. The bells go off frequently from about 9am
positiv: Excellent location: close to train station, Dom, shopping area and old city centre. At least one of the receptionists was kind. Rooms were old but clean! Good breakfast for a city hotel.
negativ: The room had a bad odour coming from the bathroom and was very noisy (from street and neighbouring rooms). The breakfast room is too small (we had to join an occupied table that had two places left), the breakfast buffet holds a nice variety (though many things are IMHO unnecessary), but fresh youghurt was missing and coffee wasn't great. One of the receptionists was very unhelpfull.
