- The Ruchti's is quietly located in Füssen in the forest of a nature reserve, with a magnificent view of the Allgäu Alps. The old town, the Hohe Castle, the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau and the former Benedictine monastery of St. Mang are easily accessible. Several lakes and hiking trails are also nearby.

positiv: Secluded location; adequate private parking
positiv: As I only used the hotel for Bed & Breakfast and was out during most of the day I found it adequate and good value for money.
negativ: My particular room had no view at all and would have been no use in Summer as it looked on to a rock face. I asked for a second pillow and was promised one but it never appeared.
positiv: Great view of the Alps! We were very impressed with the view. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was a standard German spread of meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereal, and breads.
negativ: The room did not have any pictures in it. Just blank walls that needed painting. The shower head/wand also needed to be fixed. We were not able to make it stay up, forcing us to use the wand. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying.
