positiv: The area around the hotel has plenty of services, although the tram passing in front make it a lousy place. The tram service is very good and you can get to the center of the city in 5 minutes.
negativ: The arrival was not pleasant, since the guest have to pick up the keys to enter the hotel and the room in a mailbox, which was out of service at the moment. You are told to call a number using the phone they have there, but it happens to be the wrong number, and the guest must start trying to guess which one is the right one. The person who answer my call seem not to work for Astoria, and she told me other way to open the door, but it didn´t work either. Then she asked me if she "should call a collegue" so we can enter the hotel... Of course she should call someone! We wait around 20 minutes until somebody got there. The person was at least nice and he apologized for the inconvenience.
The fact that there is no reception service available during afternoons and night makes it uncomfortable. You can only be in your room because there are no other common areas in the hotel. Also, not having lift is not pleasant, especially for a pregnant woman...
