From Central Station, use the exit Bahnhofsplatz and walk right into the Schillerstraße. At the second crossing go left into the Landwehrstraße. After 200 meters you will find the Hotel Deutsches Theater on the left side (approximately 5 minutes

positiv: artistic decor, lots of charm, inexpensive, free wireless.
negativ: some maintenance problems - phone in room didn't work, broken power outlets, stains on walls.
positiv: daytime staff at reception was friendly. evening staff was not. rooms were clean, but in need of renovation (stains on wallpaper on walls).
negativ: the evening staff at reception was very rude. we almost switched out hotel because of the rude welcome we received. very limited parking at the hotel. we didn't get a spot even though we requested one. hotel location is close to downtown, but noisy. Had to sleep with the windows closed on one of the hottest days of the year due to noise.
positiv: good money to performance relation
negativ: i reserved a parking lot, but there are any, though HRS tells differnently. They have two, but there are construction works and two is bullocks. They should be honest
