Directions to hotel
City train S4 Geltendorf to station Aubing. Walk down Georg-Bohmer-Strasse to the right. Turn left on Altostrasse and follow it 450 meters to the hotel.
You can reach the A8 Stuttgart-Munich via the A99 Munich motorway ring-road.
Drive along the A8 till the motorway ends in Munich.
Take the first available exit on the right. You are now in the Bergsonstraße. This road turns off left at a crossing, but you stay on it until you reach the Hotel Grünwald.

Positive: I travelled Europe for three weeks in France and Italy. This hotel has the best and most comprehensive breakfast on offer, with hot food made to request despite I came during Octoberfest. The price offered stayed the same during the festive season. Great!
Negative: A little bit out of town, 20 minutes on the train (16kms), but still in the Inner zone of Munich so can get the cheaper ticket.
