The non-smoking hotel Altstadt-Engel in Regensburg is located in a late-Gothic building from the 14th Century with baroque doors, cassettes paintings, splendid stucco and painted wood ceilings. It offers comfortable and individually decorated rooms with 32-inch flat-screen TV, high speed Internet access (wireless and cable), direct dial telephone, minibar, safe, hairdryer and spacious bathrooms.

Special features of the hotel

With the opening of the hotel Altstadtengel we fulfilled ourselves a life-long dream. With lots of love for detail we restored the 9 individually designed rooms and the café We managed to combine the three architectural styles of our house, gothic, baroque and renaissance with modern comfort. Since all the rooms of our historical building are under monument protection we were not able to build in an elevator. However, you won't have to miss out on modern communication such as DSL-internet connection in the rooms.
