positiv: Great restaurant next door and the pool side was nice to relax at. The rooms were self catering style so great if you want to have your own breakfast or cok in the evening.
negativ: On the 1 to 3 days stays you get the room cleaned every day but for 4 days and over its cleaned only once a week ( mid week ) so if you chk in on Friday for 4 days you have to make do with one set of towels etc Also the hotel is " VERY " difficult to find, even with GPS. They sould give more detailed instructions from the Termini train station.
positiv: The hotel seems to be undergoing room renovations (no worries - there is no noise or any messes in the way). The first room we were given had not undergone any renos yet. It seemed "quite well used" and the dishes in the kitchenette were dirty. We weren't too satisfied with it and asked for a new room. Although they said they were full they did try there best to accomodate us. They did end up moving us to a new room still on the first floor, still needing some renos but the floor had been redone and the dishes were clean. We really don't like to complain but were happy they moved us. On the other hand we did request a room overlooking the pool with a double bed when we had booked (I knew from another review site that these were newer, nicer rooms). And we were not given that. Oh well. It was still a nice place, will be even better once all the rooms are redone. A little far from the main bits of Rome but we had expected that as well. Would consider returning if back in Rome.
negativ: Finding the hotel the day we arrived was a pain. The directions I found on the web were vague and incorrect in terms of the number of stops the bus makes before you get out. Here is all I can offer: Take the metro line A to Valle Aurelia. You can then catch bus 31 towards the hotel. Get off once you see the Esso (Piazza Pio XI) to the left hand side. Sorry - I never counted the stops! But it was a pain to get there the first time! From the bus you have a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Walk up the road past the Esso (on Via Leone XIII) and turn right at Via Leone Dehon. Probably best to call the hotel for better directions!
