Positive: The stay was fine after the hotel gave us a well sized room (starting with the 3rd night of our stay) - the room was spacious, with a view to the forum and the street.
Negative: Rooms of the same class have very different sizes - it's a gamble.
When we arrived, we were given room 109 - possibly the smallest room I've had to stay in. For a 7 night stay, and being that we were a couple staying in what seemed to be a room for a single person, it was really uncomfortable. At the 3rd night of our stay they were willing to give us a "real" double-room (for which we paid in the first place), which was rude. Room 101 was our second room and that was good and spacious, as we've initially expected it to be.
The staff gave us bad directions twice - after wasting time on walking to the wrong places, we resorted to using the "mTrip" iPhone application whose directions were flawless.
Positive: excellent location, great view from the restaurant
Negative: breakfast far below 4* standard, restaurant facilities leaky and untidy
