positiv: clean, excellent location
negativ: small bathroom
positiv: staff was ok
negativ: there were no windows in my room and there were bacterias because of water in the room. Also the air in the room was very smelty. absolutely not acceptable hotel!!
positiv: Staff is hospitable and willing to offer service.
negativ: Reserved 2 rooms, got only one room reserved. Luckily there was another one available.
negativ: I rarely experienced such unfriendly and helpless staff at the reception. Furthermore, I made a reservation for a non-smoking room with a double bed, and without a word or an apology I received a smoker's room with two single beds.
positiv: On checking in, the receptionist was polite and friendly. The room attendant was helpful when spare supplies were requested. The rooms had nice old style furniture. Clean sheets were provided each day. Convenient to transport.
negativ: When we arrived at 6am, the receptionist just said "yes". After leaving the luggage, we got a feeling that it was a crappy hotel. The bathroom door opens inwards to a very small bathroom. We had to step into the shower recess to get out of the bathroom. The bathroom floor gets wet after shower and it was rather uncomfortable trying to keep the feet and floor dry. Only bath towels were provided. There were no hand towels or face washers. There was only 1cm thickness of toilet paper left but no spare roll was provided. Carpet was oldish and unshampooed. Hotel had signs saying no food or drink are allowed. As this hotel is in China town, my idea of staying there is that I could get food to eat in the comfort of my hotel room. When this priviledge is removed, I am inclined to live in a cleaner area of KL.
