Directions to hotel
The most convenient way to travel from Schipol Airport to our hotel is by taxi. Another possiblity is to take the train to Amsterdam Central Station and from there either a taxi (app. 12,00) ortram Nr. 1,2,5,11,13 or 17. The secound stop is right in front of our hotel.
A10 ring road Amsterdam, exit City Centre (Centrum), and follow the signs Centrum / Central Station, before Amsterdam Central Station turn onto the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. After approx. 800 meters, the hotel is on your right side.
You can park your car in parking garage De Kolk. This garage is also located on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. The parking is against a charge.

negativ: Too expensive for the service it provides.
positiv: The hotel was very close to dam square, a shopping plaza is next to it as well. To sum up, I would definitely stay again in the hotel
negativ: The noise from other rooms are loud and till late night

negativ: The phone did not work and the light in the room was not good. When we complained about this they fixed the light after two reminders, but the phone was never fixed/replaced. annoying. Also, the staff did not even know were the nearest farmacia was. They appered not that interested in providing service.Disapointing.

negativ: - Odors from the bathroom made the whole room smell like sewer. No hotel personal was willing to come up to the room and confirm this! - The WLAN did not work - HRS reservation was with breakfast- which was however declined by the hotel reception - Not worth 4 stars- cheap hotel for group package tourists.
