Directions to hotel
From the central station take tram 4, 9, 16, 24 or 25 and take the stop Muntplein to exit. From here pass by the Munttower and walk 1 minute to the NH Carlton Amsterdam.
Take the A2 to Amsterdam. At the end you will reach the Ring (A10). Take exit S110 (Centrum). Turn right at the first traffic lights and follow direction Centrum.
At the end of the Amsteldijk turn left towards the Stadhouderskade. At the third traffic lights turn right. Go straight on at the roundabout. At the end of the Vijzelgracht, the NH Carlton Amsterdam is situated on your left hand side.

negativ: Booking confirmation and hotel site did not tell anything about additional parking fee, breakfast indicated +20€ by room price, but not 20€/person !!!. By invoicing I have checked 3times breakfast for 2 nights, I had to ask clerk to change it, and so many other details.
positiv: location is brilliant. room was a good size, and had two balconies with a view all over the city.
negativ: it was incredibly noisy all throughout the night due to construction work on the main road, not the hotel's fault, but travellers should be aware of this.
