Departure from Dorsett Kowloon Hotel via Pioneer Centre (Mongkok) via Dorsett Seaview Hotel (Yaumatei) via Airport Express Kowloon Station and back to Dorsett Kowloon Hotel. positiv: Good location — very close (~5 mins walk) to Olympic MTR station, 10 mins from Mong Kok station.
negativ: The rooms are _very_ small and beds are too short even for my not so big size (182 cm). Wi-Fi Internet access cost 100 $HKD per day. When we reserved room, we ask, us usual, about double bed, but because of mixed English-Chinese translation they provided us a room with separate beds, and there was no way to combine it together. The hotel staff haven't provided any compensation for this mistake, even when we showed reservation confirmation with double bed.
There is very strong air conditioning in all public places of the hotel, which makes staying there just uncomfortable.
positiv: Very clean and light. Rooms cleaned every day.
negativ: A bit more of a walk from the MTR than I expected. Breakfast choices were few, but the breakfast was OK if you don't mind having the same thing every day.
positiv: A very clean hotel with safe for personal belongings and very clean and pleasent bathroom, the room overall was rather small but the perfect size for thoses spending their time exploring the city and not the hotel room. We used the room mainly for sleeping washing and a bit of downtime between adventures, and for that... It was perfect!!
negativ: Buffet breakfast could use a "spruce up"
positiv: People are trying to be useful, but language barrier is big. Must have address in local Chineese language for Taxi to know.
negativ: First they gave me a room with terrible view. After repeated complaints, they changed it. TN channels are very, very boring
