positiv: all staff are very freindly and very helpful.
positiv: unexpected special offers (3 nights for 2 paid, promotional breakfast, etc...)
negativ: at 4* hotel the wifi internet has to be free of charge...
positiv: The location is good, being only a very short distance to the metro station. There is on-street free parking nearby but it is limited, and is a case of 'firstcome, first served'. The rooms are of a good size and beds are comfortable. There is a safe provided in the room. Bathroom also a good size and well equipped. Good value for money considering the cost of other Hotels in this class in Barcelona. The staff are polite and speak good English, and I suspect there is a connection between the hotel and the College of Tourism right next door.
negativ: The Hotel is located right next to a very busy highway where the traffic never stops night or day, and is therefore very noisy. During our stay the air conditioning in the room was turned off which made the room very hot at night, but it was impossible to sleep with the window open due to traffic noise. For a 4 star hotel, facilities were very limited - the bar was closed the whole time of our stay. Internet access is by one single PC off the reception area. There is a mini bar in the room but contents very limited and very expensive. If you can't find a parking place on the street the hotel has a garage but at a cost of €15 per day which is very expensive. Pay TV Channels also very expensive at €11 per day.
