Positive: excellent location and great value for money - I would like to come back to this place

Positive: good value and location. 100m from opera metro

Positive: I was impressed with the homely atmosphere. It was nice and quiet. The place was very clean. For a person with a limited budget, it was value-for-money. The hotel staff had courtesy and and were friendly even though I had difficulties communicating as I do not understand Spanish. I felt safe throughout my stay. with regular police patrolling the area outside the hostel, one felt safe even at night as the streets are well lit Hotel is located in easy access to public transport (bus and metro). Also close to several eating houses which is good as the hostel does not provide food. That is good for a traveler with a small budget

Negative: I would appreciate it if the signal for internet use was better in the rooms. I had to use the hotel lobby to access the internet on my laptop. I had difficulty communicating with the staff as I do not understand Spanish. Perhaps get someone who can also speak English to assist international travellers.

Positive: friendly attitude of staff; presence at all times at reception (we arrived around 1 am); willingness to help with luggage carrying and storing after check-out from the room.

Negative: There are large public areas on each floor which are not utilized - we could have easily prepared and eaten our breakfast there instead of having to do it in the room; there could have been availability of a kettle in this area, so we could also have been able to make coffee and / or tea.

Positive: no noise; like at home! the hotel occupies two storeys in the house where live common people; very friendly JUST RENOVATED place!
