Positive: It was really a good choice to stay in this hotel. Centrally located, you can reach almost everything on foot, as Basel is quite small. If you don't like walking, there are tram stops to varius directions a few steps away... Remember the mobility card, which gives free pass to all public transport, even before you arrive to the hotel but on your way there and if you show the print out of the reservation to the driver!!!Generally expensive for a 2 star hotel but for the suisss standards, really a bargain!!! the room was really tiny, but had literally everything! Breakfast was basic and some of the staff don't speak english but always willing to help.
Negative: The room was very small so rather unconvenient for oversized people...generally very noisy, from the neighbouring rooms, from housekeeping that starts early in the morning and from the bar and restaurant downstairs. You could hear the live music till late at night.
