Our hotel is situated next to the Swiss and French railway station Basel SBB/SNCF.
From the airport EuroAirport: Bus no. 50 until stop Bahnhof SBB.
From the german railway station Badischer Bahnhof: Tram no. 2 until stop Bahnhof SBB.
Motorway exit Basel Süd. Follow the indication Bahnhof SBB until you reach the post-building (left). After the post-building turn to the left till the end of the street, then to the right and once again to the right into the Heumattstrasse. You will find our Hotel Schweizerhof on your left side at the end of the street. You are welcome to park the car in front of our hotel for the check-in.

Positive: Everyone was friendly and very helpful. From the lovely girl who cleaned our room to the kind lady at reception who lent me the plug in order to use my laptop whilst I waited in the bar. The room was big and very clean. The staff who work at this hotel appear to be happy at their work and it was always a pleasure to speak to any of them. I would happily return to this hotel.
Negative: Nothing negative. The hotel is perfectly situated in Basel albeit a little expensive but this is not an issue as they do not charge any more than anyone else. A wonderful hotel.
Positive: All rooms are not smoking!! My best compliments...Free soft drinks were also appreciated.
Negative: They should have an agreement with the restaurant "Le train bleu" in order to offer a serious room service.

Positive: Very, very friendly staff. Rooms exeed the ***Standard. Very clean. Extras = free mobility ticket + free mini bar.
Positive: This hotel had something I've never come across in many years of travelling: a free mini-bar. Each room key allowed access to a small refrigerator containing several types of bottled water as well as sodas, juices and iced tea. We were encouraged to drink as many as we liked. What a pleasant surprise!
Positive: Clean, efficient and recently renewed hotel. Wide rooms and good services. Complimentary "mobility card" for all public transport in Basel and to/from airport.
