Directions to hotel
Take the train to Fribourg. When you are outside the railway station you turn left and cross the street. After the building Fribourg Centre you see the hotel at 200m.

Coming from the highway:
Take the exit Fribourg Nord, follow the street through both traffic circles towards direction city center. In the roundabout in front of the cathedral you turn right. Continue on the Rue des Alpes which turns into the Rue St-Pierre till you arrive at the construction site. Take this last roundabout and leave it on the second exit. You turn on the Grand Places, on its end you will see the high hotel building.

negativ: I can't remember when I paid the last time so much for such a lousy hotel
Rooms old in bad shape and lousy maintained (dirty bathroom; chalk, etc.)
positiv: in principle clean
negativ: not really welcoming. Seems somewhat neglected / old / not carefully treated
positiv: Our two-year old was taken into account very graciously, and the service was genrally excellent and friendly.
negativ: The hotel is ugly, and to call it stylish is a stretch. The exterior is 1970s functional, clearly past its prime.
