Arriving Station West, change to the bus marked Gsteigwiler,
IMPORTANT: leave the bus at station Wilderswil, appx. 4 min. to foot, North via wooden bridge and church “Gsteig”.
(also possible from Interlaken East, change to the BOB-train)
Highway A6 exit No. 25, follow the roadsign to Grindelwald, just before the entrance to Wilderswil turn left, across the railway line, after 100m drive between the bakery and Gasthof “Hirschen”, follow this road until the wooden bridge, immediately after the bridge your will be at the church “gsteig” and the Steinbock Inn.

positiv: The access to the hotel is by crossing a wooden bridge over the raging river. The hotel has its own parking place and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The owner was helpful and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
negativ: We couldn't sleep for a long time as the church bells ring throughout the night every 15 minutes. This was very annoying and we had to close the windows tight but still the bells would disturb us. The rooms need good sound proofing to keep the noise from the raging river and the church bells from disturbing. Otherwise a very nice hotel.
