positiv: Easy walking to both Swiss and German railway stations.
Standard rooms have easy access for wheelchairs.
Reception is open longer than stated - it moves to restaurant at 18:00.
negativ: Shares facilities with sports complex, checkin and room access may be difficult during events.
positiv: Excellent place to stay for a cyclist such as myself. When in the area again, I will certainly stay there as it is clean, friendly and excellent value for money.
positiv: They had soap in the bathroom, which differs from many hotels of this category we've been to.
negativ: The hotel is used as a youth hostel, so you get tens of children running and screaming near you room (however, after 23:00 they were surprisingly silent). Another unpleasant aspect was at the breakfast - the hotel management probably thought that the best moment for fixing the kitchen and the dining room is at the breakfast time (8:00), including drilling and making a lot of noise near the table. The staff was not too helpful, too.
