Positive: the where helpfull with the early leaving after pressuring them!
Negative: unfriendly, dirty, not updated since 1965 and may not cleaned since them neither! Bugs in Bathroom!
Hotel's comments: Dear Sir Thank you for having taken the time to write this report. It is correct that the reduced 'restricted rate' is not refundable even if you leave earlier. That's why it is about 15% cheaper than the regular rate. Obviousely my team made an exception and refunded the not used night to you. Your further comments, however, are really astonishing: the hotel had been completely renovated and modernised in 2002 and the feedback of our guests tells us that the hotel is very clean. As far as the bugs you mention are concerned, I can only imagine that in the night you may have left open the window of your room and the bathroom light on. In this case insects may be attracted. We would be pleased if you gave us a 2nd chance to proof that the hotel is clean and also well maintained. Beat R. Blumer and the Claridge Team
Negative: The room smelled tobacco eventhough it was NON SMOKING
