positiv: Good things about this hotel proximity to shops great walk down to the town area great being a little further from the CBD enjoy the trams - could service managers have ready coins to exchange and advice on cost of a tram ticket - can be purchased from machine at tram stop this hotel was extremely comfortable and a respite from days of travelling and moving hotels - will stay 4-5 days next time. From my own experience, I needed "rest days" from touring and I enjoyed "dining in" and watching the news on TV. Also enjoyed the bar.
negativ: not directed at this hotel but at hotels in general - laundry facilities for personal laundry - essential for travellers moving hotels - not available. No information is provided regarding where the nearest laundromat or lavoiser is located. Only Lonely Planet guide books offer this. However, we a traveller is new to town he does not understand the locations and distances to these facilities. I needed internet access, but I also needed to download a file to MSWord and edit it and upload it to my organisation. Because only internet access was provided - I could not do this. I will have to carry a laptop with me next trip - something I was hoping to avoid. Long term mature age travellers are not really considered as important as business travellers yet they can stay longer and can purchase more by availing themselves of the facilities.
