Plenty of taxis waiting at the Main Train Station. But the best way to get to the Opera is by train; take the S-Bahn in the direction of Stadelhofen, and after just a three-minute journey, get out at Stadelhofen station, which is just around the corner from the hotel. Or take tram nr.4.
Once in the city centre, follow the signs for See (lake), then continue on to Bellevue and then as far as the Opera House. You can park in the public parking spaces in the vicinity of the hotel, or use the Utoquai multi-storey car park.

Positive: The free welcome drink was champagne! We had a breakfast walk by the lake which was right next door to the hotel and very lovely.
Negative: Requested double bed and a quiet room. was given a single bed in a tiny room, opposite the lift, possibly the worst room in the hotel.
