- In the beautiful Welsh countryside, 400 metres from Cardiff International Airport, the hotel offers free parking, well-equipped rooms and a lovely bar/restaurant. Sky Plaza Hotel is within easy reach of the airport, with a shuttle service from the hotel available (additional cost). The hotel has excellent transport links to the Cardiff area, including the Millennium Stadium, historic Cardiff Castle and the vibrant Cardiff city centre. taking the bus from central cardiff to airport it will stop directly outside the hotel.if traveling by train from cardiff central come off at rhoose station and catch the free bus to airport.
from airport,from m4 motorway, take junc 33 and follow all signs to airport and we are on the right hand side half a mile before the airport.

Positive: Great location very easy to find just follow the signs to the Cardiff Airport. Quiet hotel despite it's closeness to the airport. The room was very spacious with big windows. Free Sky tv + wifi available in the room. Free of charge parking available just outside of the hotel.
Negative: Very dark room just one main light, no light above the wardrobe area.
Not very noticeable in the day time as the windows are large, but a bit irritating in the evening. Please fit in more lights and we will come back!
Positive: Location was ideal, room was well small but contained all the required items, parking on site.
Negative: The restaurant is an indian restaurant and at 3pm when it opened there was a indian music playing on the large screen TV. The coffe I ordered was made with cream, overpriced at £2.50 and was undrinkable and when i took it back no one asked why i had not drunk it. The menu was limited to the indian cuisine. when my colleague arrived we left and went to the Toby Inn 1 mile away for a coffee and on or way back had our evening meal there. Breakfast was basic toast, cereal, fruit yogurt and facilities for makeing tea and coffee.. i spoke to the man on reception in the morning and the attitude was it makes good money the resurant does takeaways! The other guesta did not use th bar area which is in the restaurant so the hotel misses out out on providing a service to those staying. staff need to be trained in how to make a cup of coffee.
Negative: too far from cardiff central and one shouldn't even think of staying there without a car at one's disposal
