positiv: Lovely old building and a nice atmosphere - a bit different
negativ: The room was too small with the window below an outside staircase. Not what one expects in a Hitlon hotel.
positiv: very good indeed for airport bus and Haymarket Rail Station. Our "quiet room" was pretty quiet and we slept well.
negativ: cramped and rickety
positiv: room size very good, food really good hotel very nice
negativ: drinks cost quite a bit,bar staff not very freindly,
positiv: Staff did their best and were pleasant and kind. I liked the location, in spite of the rather scruffy neighborhood. Local color and nearby train station with quick access to airport buses were pluses.
negativ: I already filled out the evaluation that was in the room. The main problem was that the room was terribly stuffy. Even when the staff brought a fan, upon request, it was still difficult to get the air moving sufficiently. This made it hard for me to breathe, and very hard for me to sleep in this room. The very restricted window opening in effect ruled out the option of opening the window. There was no a/c, built-in fan, or ceiling fan. If you install a ceiling fan, it would be a big help. Removing silly towel warmer contraption behind bathroom door would allow door to open properly. Water pressure in shower and bath was completely inadequate. It was so slack that I couldn't even fully rinse the shampoo out of my hair. This is unacceptable.
