Positive: Rooms are recent and functional
Restaurant is very good with helpful staff
Negative: Rooms are small and bathroom lacks shelves
Reception took a while to find my reservation
Positive: Very VERY disappointed indeed!!!!! It was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever encountered for a hotel room costing over £60 a night - and yours was £115!!! I was unable to fit all of my concerns into your 'negative aspects' below!!! By the time I left after a VERY restless night, I was seething at how poor my stay was with you - I still am in fact!! I will NOT be reccommending your hotel to fellow colleagues or family/friends. I expect TravelLodge just up the road from you would be a better reccommendation.
Negative: I'm 6'5" tall. Your 'single room' (Room 201) was a joke!! I have a cupboard at home that is larger than that! To have slept in that bed would have been ridiculous as my feet would have been sticking out the end and pressed up against the flat screen TV that was on the wall!! I was gobsmacked that you try and charge people £115 a night to sleep in there! It was the smallest, most compact stuffy little room I have ever witnessed! Two weeks prior to visiting London I broke my leg and was expecting your rooms to all have baths, but all you had were shower rooms. Once again I find this ludicrous for a £115 a night room! When I complained to reception, they expected me to pay £30 for an upgrade to 'double' room and this too had no bath. After a while of voicing my disgust and threatening to book another hotel, I was eventually given the double room without having to pay the additional £30. However, when I got to the room, I had to call maintenance immediately as the TV did not work!
Positive: Clean, modern, quiet, managed compact everything requied in the room
Negative: incredibly small room
Negative: Breakfast service too slow, asked for a quiet room but got given a noisey room on the main road.
Positive: Very Clean
Negative: Room very small even by London standards would have been unacceptable for a more than 1 night stay, Paper was requested but not received
