The new Jubilee line means that Piccadilly is within 15 minutes of the hotel. Londons city airport is the Docklands own international airport with frequent flights all over Europe. Buses can also link the hotel with the underground and the city centre.

Positive: Excellent location for business travellers: one can directly walk in a few minutes into the new financial centre of London.
The City Airport if accessible in about 15 min by shuttle bus or directly via DLR (Docklands Light Railway), in about 15 min too (trains every few minutes).
For tourists not bad as well, since there are good and fast tube and DLR connections with the rest of London.
The hotel is modern and offers all modern facilities at an accessible price, compared to hotels of the same category in the touristic parts of London.
Negative: No mini bar in the rooms
The wireless internet connection signal is weak in some rooms and the connection is very slow.
Negative: Very unpleasant atmosphere, there was a small bar which was inside a cage?! and we had to wait 15 minutes to be served by a bartender who had no sense of urgency and was rather unfriendly. The food was a whole other issue and we were directed to a take-away pizza menu, when we did try to place and order with reception we were then informed we couldn't and given another pizza menu, what eventually arrived was probably one of the worse pieces of food I have ever had. Horrible place, horrible food, terrible service and atrocious value for money.
Positive: A lot of newspapers available. Check-in and check-out were both quick.
Negative: In the bathroom quite a lot of water was dripping from the tubes underneath the basin. The hairdryer did not work. No shoehorn was available. The bed was far too small. Too narrow and too short. The cover was also far too short.
Positive: I had few non- binding requests before we arrived, they all were fulfilled. Thank you very much as you know how to make something that customers are wishing for. Therefore we left your hotel completely satisfied and happy.
Positive: Quiet area. Free wireless internet network. Free shuttle bus to excell fair ground.
Negative: No safe box in room. No minibar in room. No windows in room to have fresh air. They use wool blankets which are not really good for hygiene. Lobby area is full of cigaretes smoke. Bad unfriendly service during breakfast. Limited TV channels ( 5-6 channels ), there is no even CNN !!! Weak water pressure in shower. Towels smell chemicals. Swimming pool and spa were closed till 10 November, not as described in my booking till August.
