positiv: Room was very clean, and bed was very comfortable. Hi-speed Wifi was actually hi-speed (most free Wifi are slow, but this one wasn't).
negativ: Room was rather small, but, hey, that's London.
negativ: Beware Single rooms are tiny, with uncomfortable mattress. Hotel in need of refurbishment, Hotel photos do not reflect the true standard of this hotel.
positiv: The atmosphere in the entrance hall was warm and although the interior is quite modern it was still cozy. We could also borrow an umbrella for free. There is a safe in every room that can be used without extra charge.
negativ: When we tried to open the window in our room the handle fell off. The window frame was totally rotten and we had a puddle of water inside the room every day. We were not quite sure whether it was condensed water or rain coming through the window. The second negative point was the drainage in the bathroom. It was blocked in both the basin and the shower. The ceiling light above the shower did not work and looked rotten and mouldy. There was no toilet brush, too. We reported the defect of the drainage and the window to the reception. They offered us to chance rooms but we thought it would not be a problem to fix at least the blocked drainage within the same day. Obviously it was a bigger problem and nothing happened even on the next day. The hotel is located in a quiet area but we experienced that the walls are very thin and you can hear the television of the rooms next to your own and every conversation in the adjacent rooms and on the corridor.
positiv: it's very nice to visit London...! :0)
negativ: very very small rooms, if you have luggages you have problems with the space... no minibar... "breakfast included" meens croissant and tea/coffee, upgread to normal breakfast +2,5 GBP and for english breakfast +5,5 GBP... and they play with the money from my credit card!!!
positiv: Good location and a stylish hotel. Staff switched my room from basement(!) to upper floor on request.
negativ: Very tiny single rooms. The breakfast was not as expected (continental breakfast with marmalade and honey only). Be careful they have also tiny and dark rooms in the basement.
