Positive: central and good public transportation nearby, could leave the luggage before I left (after checking out)
Negative: room very small, loud noise of the toilet, clairaudient room, no desk in room
Negative: The room was so small there was only just enough room to get into the bed. There was no where to put anything, no table or chairs, no dressing table, no plugs in appropriate places. No towel rails, sink so small could hardly wash face without water going everywhere. Cleaner threw out my contact lenses one day thinking they were rubbish and some of the bottle tops of liquids in my bathroom. I had to dry my hair sitting on the floor near the door to reach the plug. It was freezing cold in the night and the air con unit did not work, the duvet was very thin. Just a few additions like dressing table, towel rail, shelfs in bathroom, would make this hotel a bit more bearable, and sort the heating out!! The walls are also paper thin at this hotel, if the tv is on in the room next to you, it might as well be on in your room, you can hear everything next door. Not suitable in my opinion for a week long stay if you need sleep!
Positive: clean room, good food in restaurant with good service reasonably priced, warm welcome
Negative: lift broken had to carry suitcase down 4 floors. Room key did not work 3 times had to return to reception to have reprogrammed. Walls very thin do not expect to have a good nights sleep as you can hear everything from next door when they close the doors the room shakes.
Positive: The restaurant was very good and the staff were very efficient.
Negative: There were no towels on the first night. I rang reception to tell them, but they could not understand english. I went to reception in person to tell them, but they did not send any to my room. I rang again later, but still lady could not understand what I was asking for. I gave up and could not shower on my first night/morning at hotel.
Positive: Good location, close to tube station.
Negative: Very small rooms. Noisy. Pay on arrival is the hotel policy.
Negative: I was asked to pay in advance which I find unusual.
Positive: Godd atmosfhere
Negative: Near a street with heavy trafic.
