Negative: very noisy early in the morning, worker from hotel started to repair something at around 6.30-7am, knocking all the time.
The guy at the reception is not helpful and very unfriendly. There is a TV in the room, but there is no signal. There is no instruction how to use some of hotel facilities (e.g.computer for printing) and staff refuses to help.
Positive: the location is very good, it is centralized, it is 5min away from Hyde park and couple of min away from Paddington Train station which makes going around and visiting London very easy...
Negative: There is a reconstruction work going on in the building next door, I am not sure when will it be over...
I can understand that we should not expect a lot from a 2 stars hotel, but cleaning the room is a min that should be done before receiving the room! Besides there is no elevator in the hotel, and the staircase of the last 2 floors (out of five) is very tight, so consider not bringing many things with you if are staying at the Hotel specially that you still have to carry everything by your own and there is no chance to get any help...
