Positive: Jr suite was very good indeed.
Negative: major construction (building being torn down) right next to hotel - I imagine a lot of construction noise until at least summer 2011

Positive: Very well located hotel just off bond Street. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were extremely helpful in particular the portering staff. I was telephoned on arrival to my room to see if everything was ok. I said it was. The room was ready for me on my early arrival at 11.45am and there was no difficulty checking out a little after noon on the day of my departure. I will definitely stay at the Mandeville Hotel again in the future,
Negative: The room ( a basic double) was quite compact. The lifts were quite small and sometimes slow to arrive.

Negative: no dustbin in the room, only one tiny one in the bathroom
