Positive: good connection to the city (buses), very cheap.
Negative: hotel still under construction, small and noisy room, no real window (only light from the roof), old bed, very small room (double room), no internet available due to technical problems, breakfast room not reachable due to too many guests. No update to next category
Negative: their is no intercom from room to reception
Positive: tv lcd
Negative: no smile staff (but help) , no windows in room , too hot in room , breakfest poor and long vait......
Positive: The room was clean, sizeable and tastefully furnished. There was access to WiFi across the hotel. There was a wall mounted flat screen TV in the room.
Negative: Never seems to be enough crockery or cutlery for everyone attending breakfast. The reception staff did not show a great deal of enthusiasm however the cleaning staff were very friendly. My key card got disabled once and I had to go down to reception to get it enabled again. The TV could not be tuned in.
Positive: 10 minutes of walk from the hotel to the railway station 'Peckham Rye Train Station', it's fairly convenient. The trains from that station to city center is quite often. The WiFi is free although the signal is not so good in our room. We like this generous offer. If you use your laptop at the lobby near the reception, the signal should be good. But coming back lately after one day of intensive walking, we were really not willing to move us any more.
Negative: It seems that they don't read the special requests posted by us during booking. Our request was to have 'separate beds', but it was ignored. We were surprised after getting a room with double bed. But it was finally handled immediately. The breakfast was just minimum concerning the options, not concerning the amount. We also don't like the plastic cover on the dinner table. The weather was so warm. Eating above a plastic cover was not comfortable. They could use a easy-cleanable table. The images showed in description seem better than it was.
Positive: friendly stuff, even if new and not really professional
Negative: the room had no window (in the basement), breakfast was bad.
