Positive: beautiful stately hotel with splendour yet cosy. well situated.
Negative: no double glazing therefore rather noisy when in streetside room. modern bathroom was very tiny, toilet half hidden below the sink, shower very good. don't know whether the £30 I paid for a business upgrade was honored. £ 20/24 hrs for internet access is not a bargain.
Negative: The bed was poor quality, must have been years old. The bathroom was brand new, but the main room had cracks in the wall and was not very tidy. One night is more than enough at this hotel. The lobby of the hotel is nicely renovated but my room was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. Then I had to struggle and argue about my included breakfast .. not a welcoming experience!
