Negative: Old furnishing and bed linen - bedspread stained. No TV remote - had to pay £20 deposit to have one

No free usage of the Internet PC as it was standing on our reservation (the HRS Bonus).

Negative: No lift in this hotel!!!! I had to drag my suitcase 6 (!) flights of stairs to reach my assigned room.
The breakfast room in the basement is very tiny.
Without prior warning in HRS listing, etc., the hotel check-in demanded an extra charge of 2.5% of the room rate for payment by credit card!!!!!
